Seminars & Support

Some clients will need help selling in this water damage repair. Some owners will think it’s a rip off.  We know getting a majority vote in favor of costly repairs can be difficult. WickRight is happy to host presentations for Home Owner’s Association boards or open meetings for building owners.


It’s their money. We want everyone to be as comfortable as possible with the solution.  We’ll provide a presentation on Building Science pertaining to your building’s issues. If you prefer, you are welcome to present this portion of the presentation. A WickRight specialist will explain the Water Damage Repairs and Installation the building needs to resolve its moisture intrusion issues. We may also discuss securing financing and the estimated cost of repairs.

Depending on the size of the expected audience, the meeting can be held the building’s lobby, hospitality suite or meeting room.


We encourage people to ask questions throughout the presentation. We understand that these concepts can be confusing and we're happy to work with anyone who needs extra attention in one-on-one sessions.

Q. “My client’s building has incredibly intricate coping details/limestone capstones/something else completely unique... and they're concerned that metal copings will cheapen the look of the exterior. Any thoughts on selling them in?”

A. We understand that architectural details are essential for curb appeal. That’s why we offer, in addition to standard profiles and custom architectural profiles that mimic classic coping designs in a broad range of designer colors to compliment any building style, our WickRight Capstone VRS.  Capstone VRS was designed specifically to work on buildings with capstones.

Q. “How should I answer the "Cost Question"?”

A. Don’t. Let us take the heat. Water Damage Repairs aren’t cheap and the cost varies based on the damage uncovered throughout the project. Your clients don't need another quick fix.  They need a permanent fix.  WickRight VRS Installation isn’t cheap either, but it is reasonable.


Most commercial, multi-unit building and residential owners will need to secure a loan, and WickRight can help with that process. The cost of WickRight Water Damage Repair Services are based on the damage the building has sustained and is charged based on the time and materials needed to complete the repair properly.  We will continually informed your client of all damage discoveries and necessary cost fluctuations.  The cost of installing the WickRight Vapor Release System is calculated on a price per linear foot, based on the perimeter measurement of the building, any jogs or curves, the profile, materials and designer colors chosen.

Bob Kelly will meet you at the location, assess the building’s initial repair needs and put an estimate together using either a standard WickRight profile, creating a custom profile or using WickRight Capstone VRS.  The installation price will not fluctuate once the estimate is approved unless specifications change.

Q. “Can WickRight help my client get a loan?”

A. Yes. WickRight has strong relationships with several Chicago area banks and have worked closely with banks to secure several loans for Home Owner's Associations.  We can also provide assistance in gathering the necessary documentation from owners and producing evidence of increased marketability of units after the repairs are completed.

Q. “My clients are mad as hell and want to know who is responsible for all this? Know anyone who can help?

A. This is new territory for everyone, so until evidence of neglect or misuse of materials is found, don't pick up the pitchfork.  The "Seal It Up Tight" Mantra that the construction industry has been living by for several decades is just now being refuted by a new movement "Protect It, But Let It Breathe" – and WickRight is happy to be leadingthe march.
